How to Delete Your Data

Email Request Process

To request deletion of specific data from your account:

  1. Send an email to support@custiepets.com from your registered account email
  2. Include your account username and specify what data you want deleted
  3. We'll send a verification code to confirm your identity
  4. Reply with the code to complete your request

Processing time: 3-5 business days

Note: Our support team will manually process your request after verification.

What Data Can Be Deleted

✅ Deletable Data:

  • Pet Profiles - Individual pet information and photos
  • Messages - Individual chat messages you've sent
  • Bookings - Cancel upcoming bookings (past bookings may be retained for records)
  • Reviews - Reviews you've written (received reviews remain)

📋 Data We Must Retain:

  • Payment Records - Required for tax compliance (7 years)
  • Security Logs - For fraud prevention (90 days)
  • Active Bookings - Until completed or cancelled
  • Legal Holds - Data under investigation or dispute
